Amazon Blue

Amazon Blue are a fresh, new and very experienced musical group. They have just completed three successful Asian contracts, which has allowed their music to reach an international audience.

After the completion of the first six-month contract at the Tokyo Hilton, Japan, Amazon Blue were invited back to perform for another six months in Tokyo, and a further six months in Nagoya, Japan. The group's choice of music, great reputation and ability to create a harmonious and relaxed atmosphere with the customers and staff alike, have ensured the group's international popularity. Amazon Blue aims to reproduce some of the forgotten music of the 70s and 80s, including artists such as Steely Dan, Patti Austin, Michael Franks, Al Jarreau, Grover Washington and Chaka Khan, to appeal to the true music lovers with a finer taste. Sprinkle this with smooth jazz from the 40s and 50s for the older and more refined listeners (to reminise and stroll down memory lane), then add contemporary groove to the equation for the younger generation who want to listen 'TO A LIVE BAND'. Teamed with a laid back and relaxing atmosphere, this is the recipe for a very entertaining evening of music catering for all ages and musical tastes. The core of Amazon Blue is vocalist Fran Kelly and sax player Gus McKinstray. Add guitar for a trio and percussion to bring the group to a four piece. Amazon Blue never disappoint an audience.
