As one of Australia's most sought after stand-up comedians, Anh is an accomplished comedian and MC with ten years experience. A talented writer, actor, producer and comedian, Anh's background in commercial law provides him with a unique understanding of the corporate world. This guy’s bagged all the comedy awards around town, including the Sydney Comedian of the Year, and appeared multiple times on “Rove Live” and “The Footy Show”. You might have seen him as a regular actor on the Channel nine show “Don’t Blame Me”, or as a guest on Seachange, All Saints, or Pizza, or even in those Cornetto ads. He has recently won a role acting opposite Kate Blanchette in the movie “Little Fish”. Then there’s “Footy Legends”, a feature film backed by Mel Gibson’s production company Icon. Anh Co-wrote “Footy Legends” and will also play the lead role. The film is scheduled to start filming in March 2005. Anh is still one of the most sought after stand-up comedians still on the circuit today and has performed every major comedy venue in Australia and New Zealand, recently entertaining sell-out audiences at The Sydney Opera house. He is a favourite also with corporate clients such as The Commonwealth Bank, and Hallmark Cards, amongst many others. In 2003 Anh co-produced with his brother the film “The Finished People”. The film, described by Margaret Pomeranz as ‘one of the best Australian films of the year’ was officially selected for the Montreal International Film Festival and released by Dendy in Australia to rave reviews. Anh has been a sketch writer for the SBS program, “Life Support”. His other television writing credits include being Sitcom Head Writer for “Westy Ninja” And right at the end of the biography (cos its something he doesn’t like to admit), in 1999 Anh completed a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Anh Do was absolutely perfect for our event last night. As he has experience with performing in front of NRL audiences, the pitch and tone used was spot on. One of the standouts I took from Anh’s session is that humour does not happen by accident! While our delegates would have no idea of the planning, research, repositioning and preparation that Anh does before his performance, the effort took me by surprise. I suppose that is why his performance went so smoothly on the night and why he is not only understood his target market but was able to hit them with pertinent, relevant and non-offensive humour. The feedback I received on the night and in subsequent discussions with our delegates was excellent. He had a tough audience of experiences travellers; many of whom are accustomed to being entertained by some of the world’s best performers. Anh did not suffer in the comparison. He knew what we wanted and delivered! I personally enjoyed his performance as well. To watch a consummate professional go about his job and be able to laugh heartily at the same was a privilege.
